Masami Wagyu
As the Bay Area's exclusive distributor of Masami Wagyu, we are honored to have the opportunity to help grow this program alongside the farm as it scales in size.
Masami Cattle Ranch, Inc. was founded in June 1988 by Masami Ishida and is situated on 6,500 acres of scenic land in Northern California. The ranch raises Wagyu bulls, cows, and calves on free-range pastures and operates its own Wagyu breeding program. It also features its own feeding facilities, where a specialized Japanese feeding program is followed, providing a custom grain diet that is hand-fed to ensure the healthiest eating habits for the cattle. The ranch takes pride in raising animals without the use of antibiotics, growth hormones, or animal by-products, ensuring that all beef is 100% natural. To minimize stress, the cattle are cared for from birth to feeding, with no transfers to other facilities. The ranch's partnership with its parent company in Japan allows for the exchange of feeding techniques, ensuring innovative practices and the freshest food for the animals. In 1992, Masami expanded the operation with a meat packing facility in Klamath Falls, Oregon, where professional staff cuts and packages the beef to the highest standards.
